Seaver Foundation Center for Bioinformatics

Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University

The Seaver Foundation Center in Bioinformatics was established at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine in July 2001 to be an interdepartmental academic home to a wide range of computational biology research at the College. The Center is now comprised of the research programs of three faculty, with research ranging from computational evolution to protein structure and function prediction to theoretical biophysics and biochemistry. Expected to grow to as many eight faculty within the next few years, the Center is also home to a shared computational facility including a 176 node cluster computer. For more information, please contact the Center’s Director, Prof. Steven Schwartz.
